The Players Course: A Classic Reimagined
Originally unveiled in 2007, the John Fought-designed Players Course has long been celebrated for its timeless American design, inspired by legendary layouts like Riviera and Winged Foot, as well as the artistry of Dr. Alister MacKenzie’s masterpieces near Melbourne, Australia. Following its recent renovation, the course now shines brighter than ever, blending its classic roots with modern enhancements that elevate playability and aesthetics.
Fought’s vision remains intact, with sculpted bunkers and strategic contours that challenge and delight golfers of all levels. Many of the stately trees from the original property continue to grace the fairways, preserving the charm of a venerable course while introducing a refreshed, contemporary feel. Each hole is thoughtfully oriented to showcase sweeping views of the San Jacinto, Santa Rosa, and San Bernardino mountain ranges, with majestic Eisenhower Mountain standing proudly to the south.
